The Fiscal Year 2009 - 2010 budget does not include funding for Sweet Briar College to provide dial-up Internet access. You will need to have alternate arrangements for network access beginning July 1, 2009. Many companies offer dial-up Internet access. These include NetZero, Earthlink, PeoplePC, as well as local companies that advertise in the Yellow Pages. Depending on where you live, DSL or cable may offer high-speed options. Cell phone companies such as AT&T, nTelos, Alltel and Verizon also offer data services, with better performance than dial-up.
